Studios At Glenthorne - Merthyr Tydfil

The staff were extremely friendly, excellent and perfect location to everything you need in town. And it was also close to the supermarket on time.

Liked Merthyr Tydfil, the hotel was newly remodelled and bright to grocery stores. Also, I parked onsite. The location was central, near the park around the Castle nearby, the garden at the rear of property, behind large wooden gates and the town center.

The room was super comfy with a lovely double bed and a neat kitchen equipped with everything you need. It's just a short drive to the town, and there's plenty of street parking. The warm welcome from the host made it even nicer!

Our studio was immaculate, but the soundproofing could be better due to noise from neighbors.

The bike storage was a lifesaver after our cycling adventures to the Brecon Beacons and exploring the local castle. The studio was super clean and had all essentials. Delicious Welsh cakes waiting for us. Just a heads up, it's a bit of an uphill walk back from town, but it's worth it for the peaceful area!

The only downside was the soundproofing. We could hear some noise from other rooms, a bit distracting at times.

Spent two nights in a lovely, clean room that was well-equipped, making my stay super comfortable! I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area and the nice little garden outside, perfect for sipping my morning coffee. The only minor downside was that sounds from neighboring rooms were a bit noticeable, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

I really loved this place because I could stroll to Cyfarthfa Castle in just a short walk, and there's the fine Taf Fechan Nature Reserve almost 2 km away, making it perfect for my weekend adventures.

The decoration was bright and cheerful. I appreciated the attention to detail, with fresh flowers and comfortable seating-all in a serene, accessible environment that was perfect for a relaxing getaway.

More assistance with steep stairs would be helpful.

Just a solid selection for a weekend in Merthyr Tydfil with very good value for money. The kitchen had everything we needed, making it easy to cook both nights. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the top floor.
